Not-For-Profit Information

CRNI is the all-Island representative body for community-based reuse, recycling and waste prevention organisations. It is funded by the EPA to promote reuse. The impact and significance of CRNI on the resource efficiency landscape in Ireland has grown in recent years and the organisation is now referred to as a centre of expertise for reuse. For example, CRNI has undertaken a number of high profile campaigns that have engaged a wide audience and attracted national media coverage. CRNI members are actively involved in gathering, preparing, exchanging or selling reusable items and recycling valuable materials. As CRNI works primarily with social enterprise organisations, a key function of the network is to communicate the importance of the reuse and recycling sectors in creating employment within a community and their role in providing training and work skills.
