Community Connect

Community Connect is Ireland’s national Baby Bank. We accept donations of used baby equipment and clothing, and we redistribute these, along with gift packs of essential items, to families in need. We operate in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny & Athlone at present and we have great ambition to expand further. Our work supports the most vulnerable - pregnant mothers and families with young babies aged 0-3 years. We work closely with maternity hospitals, social workers, poverty relief and housing support organisations and many others to get support to where it is needed most. We are also passionate about creating a real circular economy for baby items in Ireland, and we believe we can have a significant impact in helping reduce Ireland's consumption footprint and work towards our shared environmental goals.

We would love to add trustees to our Board who may have skills around digital, marketing and fundraising; as well as enthusiastic trustees who can see the potential of what we can achieve and will help us to reach that potential. Please get in touch if you are interested in our work!
