Established in 2015 (incorporated 2016) the organisation has sucessfully completed Phase 1 of a capital programme (€80k) administering grants from a number of different public and private funding sources. The organisation recently secured a further €80k from State and EU funds towards phase 2 to be spent in 2018. The administration of these grants, the bridging finance and the other work associated with delivering phase 2 present a significant work load on the Board. We are currently also in the Charities Registration process. The organisation's Board has broad arts and culture experience but is over stretched and short on financial and corporate governance experience. The project and the company is currently heavily relaint on the founder-Chairperson. Soon the company will begin to 'trade' and it is in anticipation of the administrative, organisational, staffing and regulatory challanges that will accompany this that we are seeking external advice and expertise.
