The Clondalkin Equine Club was opened in 2017, we provide a supportive and holistic environment for the children of the greater Lucan and Clondalkin area and offer a safe and encouraging place for them to keep and care for their horses. We work with other external organisations in the area to provide the best service we can to the children and their families. We pride ourselves on offering a nurturing and safe environment for the children involved with the club and their families and we work with the children to be the best they can be and encourage completion of education and an alternative to going down the wrong road. We also promote good animal welfare practice and engaging with marginalised young people in Dublin 22. Organising themed information events, working on the issue of urban horses at a local/national level and horses as a therapeutic and education support.
