Brigit's Garden is an award-winning garden and visitor centre 15km outside Galway City. It was established in 2004 as a registered charity and a resource for the community. It attracts about 25,000 visitors every year to its Celtic Gardens, 11 acres of woodland, gift shop and Garden Cafe. It has a full time Director, employs 14 people, some part-time and some seasonal, and has a committed group of volunteers who help out on a regular basis. Our Vision is to offer Brigit's Garden as a place of connection with nature, beauty and the cycles of life, and as a resource for education, reflection and creativity. We offer programs in environmental education, heritage, primary school science, seasonal events and meditation, Many of the programs are tailored for active retirement groups, special needs, Celtic spirituality, general tourism and families. Its facilities area available for weddings, corporate events and family celebrations.
