BMYI (Blakestown Mountview Youth Initiative) is a referral based service dedicated to meeting the needs of Young People and their families living in The Blakestown & Mountview area of Dublin 15. We open throughout the year, operating a dynamic blend of programmes based on a three strand approach of
1. Youth Development,
2. Family Support and
3. Education Support

In collaboration with Tusla, HSE addiction services and The Blanchardstown Drugs Task Force, our purpose is to support young people at risk of early and problematic substance misuse. Drug prevention and education underpins all of our work.

BMYI is an independent youth organisation currently developing a 3 year strategic plan.

Strategically positioned in Dublin 15, BMYI activities run in our purpose built premises on Blakestown Road.

Our needs based activities and interventions - all of which are aligned with the National Youth Strategy, Better Outcomes Brighter Futures and The National Drugs Strategy - include

Through our referral process, we identify suitable young people aged 13 -18.

Our catchment area is Blakestown, Mountview and young people attending Blakestown Community School.
