Barnstorm Theatre Company creates and presents quality theatre with, by and for children and young people. 

Our Objectives

To sustain a professional, Kilkenny-based, theatre arts organisation, which draws from and serves diverse sections of our community;

To provide opportunities for children and young people to make and receive theatre;

To ensure the voice of children and young people is heard and represented;

To explore new forms of theatre that will grow from, and respond to the needs and interests of children and young people;

To develop high-quality professional theatre for young audiences by commissioning, producing and touring engaging plays;

To develop and provide meaningful engagement and inclusive participation for children and young people across all our activities;

To ensure inclusion and provision of our activities for all children and young people from diverse backgrounds and abilities across the county of Kilkenny and the South-East Region
