Ballyfermot Advance Project

We are a specialised professional service for people from Ballyfermot and the Dublin 10 area offering non-judgemental support and advice to those affected by the own or someone else's drug or alcohol use. We aim to facilitate and support individuals and their families to identify their needs associated with problematic drug and alcohol use. We do this by providing a low-threshold daily drop-in service where people have access to food, laundry services and showering facilities and a place to come just to talk. We also provide one-one support through CRA Therapy, care planning and case management, family support through the 5 Step Brief Intervention Method. We also provide a counselling service for people who wish to access residential treatment or detox centres or individuals who wish to avail of community detox. We run Art, Yoga and Mindfulness groups for people in recovery or stable in their drug use.
