Honoured to have President Michael D, Higgins as our Patron, Ballet Ireland, was established in 1998. The company's inaugural performances were given at the Gaiety Theatre in October 1998. Funded by the Arts Council of Ireland since 1999, the company has a reputation for high quality innovative productions which tour widely nationwide. Ballet Ireland is the only professional ballet company in Ireland.
