The AACPI represents and supports a national network of professional community-based counselling services. We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Our members are community-based and not-for-profit. 

Our core aims are to promote the value of community and agency-based counselling & psychotherapy in Ireland and to continue to build on our standards of excellence in clinical practice and corporate governance.

Our core values are accessibility, inclusivity and equality in mental health supports in all communities across Ireland.
