Boardmatch & LinkedIn Partnership

Advertising your Boardmatch board vacancy on LinkedIn

Through Boardmatch's partnership with LinkedIn, you can enhance the visibility of your board vacancies whilst also driving traffic towards your LinkedIn not-for-profit profile effortlessly. 

How it Works: 
When you post a board role on Boardmatch, it will automatically be published on your LinkedIn page. This feature ensures that your vacancies reach a broader audience, maximising the impact of your recruitment efforts whilst increasing engagement on your company’s LinkedIn profile. 

What You Need: 
To enable this seamless integration, you’ll need to provide your organisation's LinkedIn Company ID number. This can be viewed by admins of the LinkedIn page. Admins for your organisation's LinkedIn need to:

  1. Log in to LinkedIn

  2. Navigate to your company page and view the page as an admin

  3. Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. The LinkedIn company ID is the series of numbers at the end of your URL. 
    Example URL: https://www.linkedin.com/company/815722/ (ID number = 815722)

If you organisation doesn't have a LinkedIn page: 
Creating a LinkedIn Company page is free, and you can find steps from LinkedIn here. 

Connect LinkedIn with Boardmatch: 

  1. Once you're logged in to Boardmatch, you can navigate to your organisation's Boardmatch page here.
  2. Click the 'Edit' button under 'Brand Information'
  3. Scroll down to 'LinkedIn Company ID Number' and enter the number
  4. Click Save
  5. Now the LinkedIn ID will be automatically added to all new vacancies

Connect LinkedIn with existing vacancies: 
After following the steps above, you can also add the LinkedIn ID to your existing vacancies:

  1. Once you're logged in to Boardmatch, you can navigate to your organisation's vacancies page here.

  2. Click the title of your vacancy to open the advert

  3. Click 'Edit'

  4. Scroll down to 'LinkedIn Company ID Number' and enter the number
  5. Click Save

View vacancies on LinkedIn: 
Once you’ve added your LinkedIn company ID to Boardmatch, it will take about 24 hours for your published vacancies to be automatically added to the 'Jobs' of your organisation's LinkedIn, listed as voluntary roles.
If you make any changes to your Boardmatch vacancies, the LinkedIn roles will also be updated within 24 hours.
