Loreto Centre Crumlin
The Loreto Centre Crumlin has been in operation for twenty-five years, providing consistently high-quality psycho-social adult community education, and psychotherapy counselling services to the local community. Established by Loreto Sisters in Ireland, the Centre draws on both education and social ministry, and represents a core element of their mission outreach to respond to the needs of the times.
Over the last 25 years we have provided support and education services to thousands of adults from within and close to our catchment area in the south west city and urban area. All our services are provided on a reduced or voluntary donation basis.
The Board of the Loreto Centre provide governance and oversight to the day to day operations which are carried out by the Centre Manager (employed by the Centre), our volunteer Clinical Directors, voluntary therapists and office and maintenance support staff.
The Board consists of c nine persons and currently we have a few vacancies for suitable persons who would like to support us with their experience and skill set. The skill sets fall into the range of governance, funding identification, financial management, corporate structure and service delivery in the areas of adult education, mental health and psychotherapy support.
