Director

St. Michael’s House is one of Ireland’s largest providers of community-based services for children and adults with a disability. We provide a comprehensive range of services and supports to adults and children with disabilities, and their families, in 180 locations in the Greater Dublin area:

 

At this time, applications are invited for Director positions on the board of St. Michael’s House.

 

Applications which display experience and expertise in the following areas would be particularly desirable:

  • Financial/Accounting
  • Clinical/Social Care
  • Risk Management
  • Human Resources
  • Public Health
  • Government relations
  • Lived experience of disabilities

 

Successful candidates will be required to prepare for and attend approximately six board meetings per annum. All board meetings are currently being conducted via a hybrid model, i.e., via TEAMS/in person.

 

In addition, all members of the St Michael’s House board are required to serve on one of the subcommittees of the board. This will involve attending subcommittee meetings, which can range from 2-6 meetings per annum.
