NISIG are recruiting new committee members who are interested in progressing to chair of the committee. The role involves governance responsibilities for the organisation including value led leadership, strategic planning, financial sustainability, risk management and ensuring the charity advances it's charitable pupose.
The committee meets about eight times per year and there are regular updates via email and whattsapp. NISIG has declared compliance to the Charities Regulator's Governance Code and the committee includes individuals with experience in governance, education and public relations. There are two very active paid administrators who support the management committee to a very high level.
