Trustee with HR experience

Our Mission: Helplink Mental Health’s (formally Helplink Support Services) mission is to provide accessible, free or low cost mental health services; locally (West of Ireland), nationally and internationally, 7 days a week and out–of–hours. The three types of mental health services that Helplink provides are: Counselling, Information Provision and Education.

Our Vision: Helplink Mental Health’s vision is to be Ireland’s leading provider of accessible mental health services locally (West of Ireland), nationally and internationally. We aim to achieve this vision through partnership with other organisations and by providing our services accessibly through the utilisation of traditional face-to-face service provision structures in the West of Ireland, coupled with online technologies for service provision nationally and internationally.

Helplink's Board of trustees is seeking a Board Member with HR expertise to join their Board (currently six trustees with experience in: Business, Finance, Law, Marketing, Strategy, Health). 

The successful candidate will ideally have experience and an expertise with regard to best practice in HR management ideally but not necessary in the not for profit sector.

The board is meeting 6 time a year + AGM

While the location is Galway, the board is well experienced in Virtual Meetings, and with our recent expansion to County Mayo we would encourage any candidates with the relevant skills  from this county to apply.
