Trustee with accounting experience

How Long: Minimum 2 year commitment. Online meetings every six weeks, for 2 hours.

Turn2Me is looking for a trustee with accounting experience. This is a voluntary, unpaid position.

About Turn2me.ie

Turn2me’s mission is: We provide accessible professional online mental health services to adults living in Ireland.

Turn2me provides round-the-clock free, anonymous and confidential professional mental health support online to everyone in Ireland aged 12+. Founded in 2009 by brothers Oisin and Diarmuid Scollard who lost their brother Cormac to suicide, Turn2Me brings together innovative technology and clinical expertise to prevent mental health issues becoming mental health crises in order to change and save lives.  Together we can help solve Ireland’s current mental health crisis by ensuring these much needed services remain free and immediately accessible to everyone in need.

Role Expectations

1. Act as the Board member with accounting expertise.
2. Regularly attend board meetings every six weeks.
3. Collaborate on organisational strategy and support the CEO in delivery of same.
4. Commit to 2 years of service and sign up to Board Code of Conduct and understand roles and responsibilities associated with role of director
5. Represent the Organisation well in all engagements, internally and externally
6. Volunteer for and willingly accept assignments and complete them thoroughly and on time.
7. Gets to know other Board members and build a collegial working relationship that encourages diversity of thought, respects others viewpoints and contributes to healthy debate and decision making.
8. Please note that this is a volunteer role.
