Responsibilities of Steering Board Members will include the following:
- To assist with grant applications and explore opportunities for further funding
- To assist in developing new partnerships with the objective of developing sources of sustainable funding
- To attend our Board Meetings (every 8 weeks) and annual AGM
- Participate in ad hoc sub groups as needed.
- To give a minimum of 1 year commitment
- To adhere to Board Members’ code of conduct and policies
Skills and Qualities required are
- A strong interest in the LGBT+ rights, community development and social inclusion in the Midlands
- A strong communicator
- Excellent networking skills and ability to maintain working relationships
- Proactive attitude, drive, enthusiasm and initiative
- Honesty, integrity, reliability, commitment and time keeping
- A proven team player
