Steering Board Member

Responsibilities of Steering Board Members will include the following:

  • To assist with grant applications and explore opportunities for further funding
  • To assist in developing new partnerships with the objective of developing sources of sustainable funding
  • To attend our Board Meetings (every 8 weeks) and annual AGM
  • Participate in ad hoc sub groups as needed.
  • To give a minimum of 1 year commitment
  • To adhere to Board Members’ code of conduct and policies

Skills and Qualities required are

  • A strong interest in the LGBT+ rights, community development and social inclusion in the Midlands
  • A strong communicator
  • Excellent networking skills and ability to maintain working relationships
  • Proactive attitude, drive, enthusiasm and initiative
  • Honesty, integrity, reliability, commitment and time keeping
  • A proven team player
