Directors/Trustees, with a particular need for a Treasurer

The Irish Cycling Campaign - a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity - is a recently restructured advocacy organisation with around 1,000 members.  Our vision is for an Ireland with a cycle friendly culture, where everyone has a real choice to cycle and is encouraged to experience the joy, convenience, health and environmental benefits of cycling.

The Board is now looking to co-opt a number of new Directors/Trustees, ideally with some previous experience of governance. We are particularly interested in finding a person with a book-keeping, accounting or similar financial background to take on the role of Treasurer.  We hold our meetings online but have occasional in-person meet-ups.

• Do you cycle (or wish you could if you felt it was safer)?
• Are you looking to do something practical to combat our climate, health, congestion, road safety and associated crises?
• Do you have a day or two per month to commit to this role?
• Do you wish to share your skills and maybe learn some new ones along the way?
• Would you like to gain satisfaction from being involved in a leading organisation that is at an exciting juncture?
• Are you keen to be part of a friendly and skilled team of other volunteers?
