Director (Charity)

We are looking for a voluntary member of our Board of Directors with executive experience within a charity.

The position assists overseeing the governance of Chime, including managing its assets, input to strategic direction and making appropriate investment decisions.

The time commitment is 6 meetings a year (held in the evening), with the additional option to sit on a sub-committee where the more detailed work is progressed.

Chime is the National Charity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. Since 1964, Chime has championed and supported Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and advocated for full inclusion and equality.

Our Vision

A future where Deaf and Hard of Hearing people are fully included and have equal opportunities.

We strive to achieve this through our range of services, including personal and group support; Residential, Day, Mentoring, Social Work and Children & Family services; audiology; assistive technology; advocacy work and awareness campaigns.
