Chairperson and/or CEO

Friends of Breastfeeding is seeking a volunteer, or volunteers, to join our Board of Trustees and National Committee as Chairperson and/or CEO. This involves coordinating the day to day running of the charity.

CEO tasks include:

• Chairing National Committee meetings
• Overseeing National Committee day to day work on finance, fundraising, social media, events including the FoBF Awards, and governance
• Grant Applications and liaising with HSE and other funders
• Representing Friends of Breastfeeding at events
• Working towards the goals in our Strategic Plan (which includes a goal to secure funding for the CEO role, and could be a very exciting opportunity for the right person)

Chairperson tasks include:

• Chairing quarterly Board of Trustee meetings
• Overseeing National Committee functions particularly of finance and good governance
• Representing FoBF at events
• Assisting the CEO in working towards the goals in our Strategic Plan

We particularly need people with good organisational skills and communication skills.
