Board Director

The role of the Director will be to add to the skillset and expertise of current Directors.  To formulate policies and strategies and put in place necessary organisational structures and resources.  This is necessary to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the objectives of the National Childcare Investment Programme, in order to coordinate the provision and development of quality, affordable and accessible Childcare in Co. Wexford.

The role is to ensure compliance with relevant Employer and Corporate Governance legislation, ensuring sound financial practices and procedures are in place and being adhered to.  Directors includes attendance at 8 meetings per annum, inclusive of an AGM.  Ongoing support to the CEO in her role as operational manager forms part of the Directors responsibilites.
