Trustees with a range of skills needed for rural area organisation
The Board of Cairdeas Kilmovee FRC is responsible for giving overall strategic direction to the organisation, defining controls to safeguard financial resources and fulfill legal obligations, creating annual plans, overseeing staffing issues and liaising with key stakeholders.
It is essential that as a Trustee you are interested in supporting a local grassroots organisation operating in a rural area.
We particularly welcome applications from people who have skills and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Health and Safety and/or Building maintenance
- Finance and admin
- Working with vulnerable people and/or rural communities
- Board governance of public organisations
The Board is looking for a wide range of skills, so please apply even if you do not feel your experience fits the list above. Depending on your skills and interests, you'll be invited to join sub-committees such as the Finance committee. Many of our Board meetings are hybrid, though occasional attendance in person is appreciated.
