Voluntary Directors

Midleton Credit Union would be delighted to welcome new volunteers to sit on our board of directors and various committees.

These roles are ideal for those with previous financial experience or who want to gain more knowledge of the credit union movement, its role in the community and its governance. No prior knowledge of finance is required.

Our board shape the future of Midleton CU and there are opportunities to sit on numerous committees, meeting like-minded individuals.

Meetings typically occur between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday so would suit those with flexible working hours and / or retirees. Volunteers are typically asked to donate 4-6 hours of their time per month and are provided with all necessary tools & training.

As Midleton Credit Union has a common bond area (a specific geographical area in which we operate), volunteers are invited from East Cork and must be (or become) a member of Midleton Credit Union.
