Our Vision is t support the people of Roscommon in further enhancing its places and ways of living as flourishing, vibrant communities, with volunteering at its heart. 

Our Mission 

• To promote the value of volunteering and to increase the range and quality of volunteering.
• To increase access to volunteering by offering a support service to the public and volunteer involving organisations (VIOs).
• To carry on these charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of County Roscommon and its environs. 

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Board of Directors who are interested in supporting us to develop our mission. Time commitment would be approx. 9-10 board meetings per year. Attendance can be remote through video conferencing, if that is your preference. It would also be ideal if you could attend some events in person throughout the year; for example the AGM and the Roscommon Volunteer Awards ceremony. More information on www.volunteerroscommon.ie
