About us: The Five Lamps Arts Festival (FLAF), located in the heart of the community in Dublin’s North East InnerCity, was established in 2007 by Roisin Lonergan, a former teacher from Marino College.
In addition to the core Festival (typically over 7-10 days in April each year), our smart and resourceful community–based team works year-round with local people and professional artists to put culture, creativity and diversity at the heart of the area’s regeneration.Over the past two decades, the Festival has grown to become a centre for the creation and presentation of locally relevant, artistically ambitious works and is a highly regarded and much-loved part of the community. Supporters and funders of the Festival include Dublin City Council Arts Office, the Arts Council, DCC NEIC Initiative, Fáilte Ireland, and many private advocates and contributors. We also work in partnership with businesses located in the north easti nner city to help them meet their corporate social responsibility and employee welfare goals.

We celebrate and cherish the unique history and heritage of the NEIC through guided
tours, story-telling, and exhibition of archives including photography and film.
