Key Actions of the Board

As a member of the Rush Multipurpose Youth Facility Board, you will be involved in several key actions, such as: 

• Strategic Planning: Collaborating to define long-term goals for the facility and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Governance: Ensuring that the organization operates according to its mission, adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, and follows best practices in non-profit governance.
• Fundraising & Advocacy: Supporting fundraising efforts and advocating for the facility within the community and to local government to secure necessary resources.
• Program Oversight: Helping to design and assess the impact of programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of young people.
• Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks to the organization, whether financial, operational, or reputational.
