Trustee – Building & Sustainability Expertise

South West Wexford Family Resource Centre (SWWFRC) is a long-established organisation providing vital services and supports to families and individuals across South West Wexford. Based in the Ramsgrange Resource Centre (a historic building dating back to 1875), we are committed to ensuring our facilities remain safe, welcoming, and sustainable for the future.

We are seeking a trustee with skills, knowledge, or interest in:

• Building, construction, architecture, or engineering

• Energy efficiency and sustainable development

• Heritage building care

• Health & safety in community facilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise the Board on building care, development, and sustainability.

• Support decision-making on repairs, upgrades, and compliance matters.

• Help ensure the Centre remains fit for purpose for the community.

• Contribute to the overall governance of SWWFRC as part of the voluntary Board of Management.

Commitment:

• Attend regular meetings .

• Provide occasional advice outside meetings in your area of expertise.

• Voluntary position.
