Trustee Board member with previous board / committe experience, open to chairperson position

Kilkenny Bereavement Support are seeking to recruit people to join the Voluntary Board of Management to help the organisation achieve the main objective of providing free bereavement support to bereaved people of all ages.

 Volunteers to the Board will contribute to:

o   A leadership role in the organisation;

o   Strategic planning and Promotional work;

o   Ensuring regulatory compliance including Finance, Governance, GDPR, Health and Safety and Risk Management are met;

o   Ensuring the organisation operates in an open and transparent way.

 Commitment:

o   Attend approximately 9 in person board meetings yearly – 1.5 hours every six weeks;

o   Review material between meetings;

o   Work on sub-groups as opportunities arise.
