Treasurer

Role Description

This is a voluntary remote role for a Treasurer/Financial Manager volunteer at Nature Network Ireland. The Treasurer/Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of accurate financial records, reporting to the board, reviewing financial systems to ensure good practice and working with the company's bookkeeper.

Qualifications

• Financial management skills such as budgeting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of PAYE
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Familiarity with not-for-profit financial management is a plus

The role may suit someone who has knowledge and skills in financial management. The company has an accountant. There are opportunities for training to update on NGO financial reporting requirements and to be part of an enthusiastic team, committed to the common purpose of nature protection and conservation.
