Help shape the future of our communities
ARC Family Resource Centre is part of a vibrant national network of 126 Family Resource Centres working together to strengthen families and build thriving, inclusive communities across Ireland.
At ARC, we believe that local people know their community best — and that real change happens when we come together to listen, support, and take action. That’s why we’re inviting caring, community-minded people to join our Board of Directors and play a part in guiding our work.
As a Board Member, you’ll help us:
-
Support families and individuals to reach their potential
-
Ensure our services reflect the needs of our community
-
Shape the future of a strong and sustainable organisation
You don’t need to be an expert — just someone who believes in community, fairness, and making a difference. If you do have skills or experience in areas like Human Resources, Finance, Governance, Health & Safety, Supporting Vulnerable Groups, Strategic Planning, or Community Engagement, that’s a bonus.
Board Members typically attend around ten meetings a year, with the option to contribute to smaller working groups along the way. Your voice, ideas, and passion can make a real impact.
If this sounds like something you’d love to be part of, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
