COMMUNITY LYNKS PROJECT IS A DRUG AND ALCOHOL-FREE REHAB COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT PROJECT. WE ARE A DAY PROGRAMME FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BECOME DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE AND ARE LOOKING TO MAINTAIN THEIR RECOVERY. WE HAVE A 5 DAY PROGRAMME THAT CONSISTS OF GROUP WORK, THERAPUTIC GROUPS, ONE TO ONE KEYWORKING, COUNSELLING, TRAINING AND EDUCATION, SOCIAL EVENTS AND PEER SUPPORT GROUPS.
THE ROLE:
COMMUNITY LYNKS ARE SEEKING TO RECRUIT A TRUSTEE WITH A BACKGROUND IN ADMINISTRATION, MINUTE TAKER AND ORGANISING MEETINGS. THE PERSON WOULD ORGANISE THE BOARD MEETINGS AND MAKE SURE THE AGENDA AND MINUTES ARE SENT OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER. AT THE MEETINGS THEY WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING THE MINUTES.
GENERAL Trustee duties of a Charity Trustee:
- Comply with the Charity’s governing document
- Ensuring charity is complying with its charitable purpose for the public benefit
- Acting in the best interest of the charity
- Act with Reasonable Care and Skill
- Manage the assets of your charity
Board Meetings:
There will be 6 to 8 meetings a year. Our meetings are online with at least one in person a year.
