Quality Client Services Sub Committee
NOVAS currently has one vacancy on it's Quality Client Services Sub Committee and is seeking expressions of interest from candidates who have suitable experience. Selection will be based on finding the best match to the following criteria:
- Experience and knowledge from working in the Social Care, Homeless Services, Addiction, Mental Health or Tenancy Sustainment areas within a charity, education provider or public sector (for example HSE, Local Authority, TUSLA, HIQA),
- Understanding of governance of Client Support Service Delivery in Residential and Community based settings including risk management, quality service delivery, service development and compliance,
- It would be an advantage to have awareness of the funding models and challenges in Ireland relating to state funding of Client Services.
- It would be an advantage to have familiarity with the NQSF (National Quality Standards Framework for Homeless Services).
The Quality Client Services Sub Committee of the Board meets quarterly, usually in person in Limerick at our offices on O'Connell Street. Meetings are attended by the Head of Operations for Client Services and the CEO who attend to report to, and answer questions from the committee members. The committee reviews metrics relating to client service deliver, data relating to trends in incidents and complaints, outcomes of quality audits, risks and opportunities facing the organisation in relation to services and the client services risk register.
NOVAS is a not-for-profit registered charity (Registered Charity No. 20041533, CHY 13390), Company Limited by Guarantee (Company Reg. No. 330018 and Approved Housing Body (AHB-02763) serving approximately 6,000 clients and tenants a year across 6 counties with approximately 300 employees and an annual income of approximately €15 million. NOVAS offers services to those at risk of or experiencing homelessness through homelessness prevention, community engagement, emergency homeless accommodation, long term services including for long term homeless residents with physical and intellectual challenges as well as social housing and recovery work.
