North Wall CDP Board Member
North Wall CDP is seeking new board members to play an important role in providing governance, oversight and strategic direction to NWCDP, while supporting the organisation in achieving its aims and making a positive impact within the local community.
Board members are expected to:
- Attend and actively participate in board meetings.
- Provide guidance, support and constructive challenge to management.
- Help shape and monitor the organisation’s strategic direction and priorities.
- Oversee the organisation’s finances, risks, policies and performance.
- Ensure good governance and accountability across NWCDP.
- Act in the best interests of NWCDP and the community it serves.
- Maintain confidentiality and declare any conflicts of interest.
- Use their skills, knowledge and experience to support the continued development of NWCDP.
Expressions of interest are sought from candidates who possess skills and experience in any of the following areas: human resources, law, community and voluntary organisations, governance, strategy development, sports and recreation.
Previous board experience is welcomed but is not essential. We are particularly interested in individuals who are committed to supporting NWCDP and making a positive contribution to the local community.
