Join the Board of Cill Dara Housing Association
Cill Dara Housing Association CLG is seeking new voluntary Board members to help us continue to provide and develop high-quality social housing in County Kildare.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who can bring experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Finance within an Approved Housing Body (AHB), housing or not-for-profit environment
- Property development, construction or development finance
- Social housing, tenancy or housing management
Previous Board experience is welcome, but it is not essential. We are interested in people who can bring relevant professional experience, sound judgement, constructive challenge and a commitment to the purpose and values of social housing.
What’s involved?
Our Board meets quarterly, and Board members are also asked to participate in one of our sub-committees, contributing their expertise to support more detailed oversight of particular areas of the organisation’s work.
As a Board member and charity trustee, you will help:
- shape the strategic direction of Cill Dara Housing Association;
- oversee the organisation’s governance, finances, risks and performance;
- support the continued development and improvement of our housing services;
- provide constructive challenge and support to the executive team; and
- ensure that the organisation continues to deliver effectively for our tenants and communities.
This is a voluntary, non-executive role and an opportunity to use your experience to make a meaningful contribution to the provision of social housing in County Kildare.
We welcome expressions of interest from people from a range of backgrounds and are committed to building a Board with a strong mix of skills, experience and perspectives.
