HR Committee Member

Location: Canal Communities Areas: Bluebell, Rialto, Inchicore – Meetings Mostly Online every 4 weeks 2.00pm to 4.00pm- usually 2nd last Tuesday week of the month. Dates set for the year. 

The Canal Communities Regional Addiction Service (CCRAS) is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) with charitable status and overseen by a voluntary Board, the legal entity, through which the Canal Communities Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force  (CCLDATF) operates.  The Task Force (CCLDATF) is tasked with implementing a range of initiatives to address and respond to substance misuse and its causes and consequences within the Canal Communities area of Dublin, which consists of Bluebell, Inchicore, and Rialto.

We are seeking a Board Member with professional experience in Human Resources to provide strategic guidance on people, culture, leadership development, and workforce practices.

Desired Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Organizational Development, or a related field

• Working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices (particularly in nonprofit or mission-driven environments)

• Prior board or governance experience is a plus (not required)

• Strategic thinker with strong judgment and collaborative communication skills

• Demonstrated commitment to nonprofit missions and community impact
