HR board member (voluntary position)

The HR Board Member provides strategic oversight and guidance on all human resource matters to support a well-managed, compliant, and positive working environment within the childcare organisation. This role ensures that staff are supported, policies are robust, and employment practices align with legal and best practice standards.

Support the resolution of complex HR issues where escalated to board level.

  • Monitor compliance with employment law, health & safety, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all HR-related matters.

 Experience or background in Human Resources, people management, or employment law.
