Finance Manager

The National Federation of Arch Clubs is seeking an experienced and committed Finance Manager (Board Member) to join our voluntary Board of Directors.

The National Federation of Arch Clubs is a volunteer-led, nationwide organisation dedicated to promoting inclusion and improving the lives of children and adults with additional needs through social clubs, advocacy, and community-based supports.

Role Overview
As Finance Manager on the Board, you will provide strategic oversight and financial guidance to support the sustainable growth of the Federation. You will help ensure we remain compliant with all financial governance and charity regulations, while delivering maximum impact for our members.

Key Responsibilities
    •    Provide financial oversight and reporting to the Board
    •    Advise on budgeting, reserves, and financial planning
    •    Ensure compliance with the Charities Regulator and financial legislation
    •    Support the preparation and review of annual accounts and audit processes
    •    Offer guidance on fundraising strategies and financial risk management

Who We’re Looking For
    •    A qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent experience)
    •    Experience with nonprofit financial management (desirable)
    •    Strong understanding of charity compliance and financial reporting
    •    Ability to contribute strategically and work collaboratively as part of a board
    •    Passion for disability inclusion, social impact, and voluntary work

Time Commitment
Board meetings take place approximately 6 times per year, with additional engagement as needed. This is a voluntary, unpaid role, but out-of-pocket expenses may be covered
