Finance Committee Member
The Canal Communities Regional Addiction Service (CCRAS) is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) with charitable status and overseen by a voluntary Board, the legal entity through which the Canal Communities Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force (CCLDATF) operates. The Task Force (CCLDATF) is responsible for implementing a range of initiatives to address and respond to substance misuse and its causes and consequences within the Canal Communities area of Dublin, which includes Bluebell, Inchicore, and Rialto.
We are seeking a Board Member with professional experience in Finance to provide strategic oversight on financial governance, sustainability, risk management, and resource allocation.
Desired Qualifications

Senior-level experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related field

Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting (experience in nonprofit or public sector finance is an advantage)

Familiarity with financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks

Prior board or governance experience is a plus (not required)

Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and sound financial judgment

Demonstrated commitment to nonprofit missions and community impact
