Directors with experience in law, governance and finance.

Transparency Legal Advice Centre TLAC is seeking to recruit a Director with experience in the non-profit sector in Ireland to the Board, preferably in the fields of law, governance and finance.

The Board is responsible for the governance of the organisation, compliance, strategy setting and evaluation of the work of the organisation.

Transparency Legal Advice Centre (“TLAC”) is Ireland's only independent law centre specialising in providing free legal advice to anyone who wishes to disclose wrongdoing as provided for under Irish Law, particularly under the Protected Disclosures Act 2014 – Ireland’s primary legislation protecting whistleblowers.

The Board typically holds five meetings per year, as well as an Annual General Meeting. No remuneration is paid to Directors for their services on the Board. Meetings take place in a hybrid format but more often than not via teams.

The Board will consider diversity and inclusion among the criteria when assessing applications.
