Director with Finance/Accounting Experience

Board Member with Finance Experience
We are seeking a board member with financial knowledge or experience (e.g.
accounting, finance, budgeting, auditing, or financial management). The finance
member will assist the board in ensuring the organization is financially viable and
ensure that accurate and complete financial records are maintained.
Role overview
 Support oversight of financial planning and budgeting.
 Assist the board in understanding financial reports and risks.
 Contribute to sustainability and good financial governance
 Responsible for providing strategic financial oversight, reviewing financial
statements and advising on budgetary decisions.

 Collaborates with other board members to shape financial policies, assess
risk and contribute to the overall governance and success of the organsiation.
Time Commitment:
 Approximately 6 board meetings per year
 Meetings last around 2 hours
 Attendance can be in person or via teams
 Participate in one or more committees.
