About Taysey Leadership Network

Taysey Leadership Network (TLN) is an Ireland-registered, mission-led organisation committed to empowering minoritised communities through leadership development, education, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.

TLN delivers conferences, leadership programmes, youth initiatives, and policy-focused engagements across Ireland and internationally, including the UK and the United States.

TLN is governed by a Board of Directors operating under the Companies Act 2014.

Board meetings are held on a hybrid basis.

 

The Role

TLN is seeking a Board Director with expertise in brand, communications, media, or marketing to provide strategic oversight of the organisation’s public narrative and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of brand and communications strategy

  • Advise on reputational and communications risks

  • Support credibility and clarity in public messaging

  • Offer strategic insight without operational involvement

Skills and Experience

  • Senior experience in communications, marketing, media, or public relations

  • Strategic perspective on brand and reputation

  • Comfort operating at Board rather than execution level

Time Commitment

  • Four Board meetings per year (hybrid)

  • Occasional committee engagement

Board Meetings & Practical Information

  • Board meetings are held quarterly

  • Meetings are hybrid (mix of in-person and virtual)

  • Directors may be based in Ireland or internationally

  • International participation is welcomed, with time-zone considerations
