Development Director

About the Role

We are looking for a volunteer Development Director to lead our fundraising and partnerships strategy. You will set the direction for how NNI raises the funds and builds the relationships it needs to grow its impact, and work closely with a team of volunteers to turn that strategy into sustainable income.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising strategy

• Review and update the fundraising strategy, income targets and annual plan
• Include the need to diversify income across individual giving, grants, corporate partnerships and events
• Monitor income against targets and report regularly to the board

Working with the team

• Lead, support, and assign clear roles and strategic goals
• Run regular check-ins and give constructive feedback and recognition
• Collaborate with board members across the organisation, and keep records and reporting in order

Requirements

• Experience in fundraising, development or business development, including a senior or leadership role
• Track record of securing donations, grants or sponsorship
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
• Good organisation, with the ability to manage budgets and data analytics
