Who we are

Irish Cycling Campaign is an active charity run almost entirely by volunteers. Our vision is for an Ireland with a cycle-friendly culture, where everyone has a real choice to cycle and is encouraged to experience the joy, convenience, health and environmental benefits of cycling. We are now  looking to co-opt a number of new members to our Board.  Note we are in full compliance with the Charities Governance Code.

What we expect from our Directors/Trustees

• Being an adult who cycles 
• Willingness to join our organisation as a member
• Strongly supporting our goals
• A commitment to good governance
• Always acting appropriately and in the best interests of our organisation
• Preparing for, attending and participating fully in meetings of the Board (held online in the evening c. every two months)
• Actively contributing to the work of the Board and following through on actions agreed to
• Prepared not only to oversee the organisation but also get stuck into further developing it

• Gaining satisfaction from being involved in an organisation that is a leader in cycling and is at an exciting stage in its lifecycle
