Programmes Oversight Committee (POC) membership criteria
- Knowledge
• General understanding of and sympathy towards the Missionary Approach to Development
• Management of development or emergency responses
• Monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning
• Results based management. • Knowledge of grant management systems.
- Skills • Project Management skills
• Technical skills in budget management
• Critical and analytical skills.
- Experience
• Lived experience of the Missionary Approach to Development
• Living and working experience in the Global South
• Experience of working in Misean Cara priority sectors, overseas
• Appropriate level of cultural competence.
Expectation of all committee members
A Committee member must be someone who:

possess the knowledge, skills and experience as outlined above
Time commitments:
-
Four meetings annually (February, April, July and November).

Participation in email discussions between meetings on an exceptional basis.
