Chairperson Roles
Educate Together is a modern, dynamic charity that is redefining standards in inclusive, learner-centred education. It is providing a long-overdue choice of equality-based primary and second-level schools for thousands of families in Ireland. It is working to transform the learning environment for all pupils so that they are properly prepared for life in the twenty-first century.
Educate Together is an independent school patron that works with many supporters and partners. Our schools are state-funded, child-centred and democratically run. These schools guarantee equality of access and esteem to students irrespective of their social, cultural or religious background. All schools teach the national curriculum. Each school is managed by an independent voluntary board of management, comprising staff, parents, community members, and nominees of Educate Together.
Educate Together invites applications from experienced and skilled individuals interested in volunteering with Educate Together in a chairperson role. We are seeking individuals with skills and/or experience in some or all of the following:
- School Board of Management
- Education Leadership
- Human Resources Management
- Finance, Accountancy, and Legal
- Charity Governance/NGO Sector
- Building and Construction Projects
- Strategic Management
- Board or Committee Chairperson
A small number of chairperson vacancies currently exist, and it is intended to form a panel from which future vacancies will be filled. Please note that all roles involve on-site attendance, including in-person meetings, and applicants should be able to attend face-to-face as required.
