PACE is a Dublin based voluntary sector organisation that works with people with a wide range of criminal convictions.  PACE was established in 1969 and has grown substantially over the past 57 years.

PACE provides a range of services including:

• Accommodation Services - providing accommodation for homeless men leaving prison.
• Training and Social Enterprises - providing education, training and employment through our social enterprise.
• Prevention services - providing three different services including a treatment programme for people with convictions for harmful sexual behaviour.
• PACE Housing Association 

PACE is seeking a Board Treasurer.

Help steer our financial future and maximize our community impact.

PACE are looking for a strategic financial leader to join our Board of Directors as Treasurer. In this vital volunteer role, you will oversee our financial governance, guide our budgeting processes, and ensure our resources directly support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance against budget.
• Strategic Planning: Guide long-term financial forecasting and planning.
• Board Reporting: Present clear financial reports at quarterly meetings.
• Compliance Assurance: adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Committee Leadership: Chair the internal Finance Committee.

Who You Are

• Experienced: Background in accounting, finance, or business management.
• Strategic: Able to translate numbers into strategic governance advice.
• Communicative: Skilled at explaining financial concepts to non-experts.
• Committed: Passionate about our mission, vision and values.

Commitment & Details

• Term Length: [ 3 years]
• Time Commitment: Approximately [4–6 hours] per month.
• Meeting Schedule: [Monthly evening meetings via Zoom/In-person].
• Compensation: This is a voluntary, non-salaried position.
