Board & Sub-Committee Appointments

Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking to appoint new members to its Board and Sub-Committee.

Since 1973 Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) has supported the delivery of more than 10,000 homes across Ireland. Last year the organisation provided 918 homes, and we now manage over 7,252 properties with a future ambition to deliver 1,000 new homes annually. CHI is unique as it is the national federation for the co-operative housing movement, a registered charity (20012182) and an Approved Housing Body.

The Board is seeking expressions of interest from appropriate individuals, with a view to co-option to the Board & Sub-Committees, with backgrounds in housing, finance, HR, governance, IT, and construction or property management. Appointments are non-renumerated (other than out-of-pocket expenses), and for terms of two-years, which can be renewed.

In addition to potential Board membership, the Board wishes to hear from individuals who would be suitable to serve on the following Sub-Committees:

·       Audit, Assurance and Finance

·       Development & Growth

·       Housing Services (tenancy management) and Community Engagement

·       Asset Management and Property Services

Please submit expressions of interest by Friday, 25th September, 2026 to:

The Secretary, Eoin Carroll

CHI welcomes applications regardless of gender, marital status, family status, age, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, and membership of the Traveller community. Board members must reside in Ireland.
