Board Members
Educate Together is a modern, dynamic charity that is redefining standards in inclusive, learner-centred education. It is providing a long-overdue choice of equality-based primary and second-level schools for thousands of families in Ireland. It is working to transform the learning environment for all pupils so that they are properly prepared for life in the twenty-first century.
Educate Together is an independent school patron that works with many supporters and partners. Our schools are state-funded, child-centred and democratically run. These schools guarantee “equality of access and esteem to students irrespective of their social, cultural or religious background. All schools teach the national curriculum.
Each school is managed by its own board of management and vacancies arise from time to time on school boards. We are inviting applications from individuals interested in joining an Educate Together school board of management as a nominee of Educate Together. A small number of vacancies exist for the roles of chairperson and patron nominee and a panel will be formed from which future vacancies will be filled.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience of some or all of the following, but training is provided so experience is not essential:
- School Board of Management
- Education Leadership
- Human Resources Management
- Finance, Accountancy, and Legal
- Charity Governance/NGO Sector
- Building and Construction Projects
- Strategic Management
- Board or Committee Chairperson
