Board Members

Gay Health Network (GHN) is currently seeking new members to join our voluntary Board of Directors.

GHN is a national organisation working to improve the health and wellbeing of gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM) in Ireland, through advocacy, partnership, and evidence-informed programmes. Our Board plays a vital role in providing strategic direction, good governance, and oversight to support this work.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Accounting or financial management

• Legal or governance expertise

• Community development

• Policy development

• Healthcare or public health

• Advocacy or lobbying

• Communications or media

We welcome applications from people who share our commitment to health equity, human rights, and community-led responses. Previous board experience is welcome but not essential. Lived experience, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach are highly valued.

Board members serve in a voluntary capacity and are expected to attend regular board meetings, contribute to sub-committees where appropriate, and support the organisation’s mission and values.
