PACE is a Dublin based voluntary sector organisation that works with people with a wide range of criminal convictions. PACE was established in 1969 and has grown substantially over the past 52 years.
PACE provides a range of services including:
- Accommodation Services - providing accommodation for homeless men leaving prison.
- Training and Social Enterprises - providing education, training and employment through our social enterprise.
- Prevention services - providing three different services including a treatment programme for people with convictions for harmful sexual behaviour.
- PACE Housing Association
We are now seeking an individual with a financial/banking/Risk background to become a Board Member. Previous voluntary experience serving on a Board or Committee is desirable. This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation at a pivotal time.
Depending on skills and experience your responsibilities will include the following:
- Member of the Finance committee
The successful candidate will be committed to supporting the growth and good governance of the organisation, have relevant financial experience, professional or voluntary experience as a board member for a social care charity and have a good understanding of the needs of PACE.
